Temps are a useful solution for employers looking to successfully navigate periods of transition or steer a business in a new direction. You may have a big project coming up for which you’ll require an extra pair of hands, or maybe a key member of your team has gone on maternity or paternity leave. Understanding this, and then consolidating your job specifications around your revised requirements and expectations is key.
Hiring temps and hiring perms are two completely different processes:
Ideally you should write-up completely different job specifications. When hiring for long-term permanent employees you may wish to prioritize personality, a pledged loyalty to your business and a five-year development plan. When hiring for the short-term, most of this is unnecessary.
Temporary-to-Perm is also known as Contract-to-Hire. CTH enables our clients to fill a full-time position after an on-the-job performance evaluation. It is an intermediate staffing solution where a candidate is employed on a temporary basis with an intention to be absorbed on a permanent role after evaluating his/ her skills and capabilities for a specific period. As an employer, you get tremendous flexibility in terms of monitoring work performance of a consultant prior to making a formal offer of employment.
We would take on selection assignments at Top, middle and junior level positions based on a thorough understanding of the job specifications, organization culture and other critical attributes required for the specific position.
These assignments would be handled by our Sourcing team with excellent network and experience to look for the right candidate for any given role. Our Sourcing team would specifically source profiles from database and submit the same to the organization after preliminary interviews. We also provide referral checks with detailed comments on the candidates’ profiles and maintain contact with the candidate(s) till such time that they join.
Our Process would involve resume aggregation from our databank, job portals, references, networking, head hunting and validation by way of preliminary interviews and reference checks prior to the presentation of final candidates to the client. We would maintain contact with the candidate(s) till such time that they join duty.
